Glad you’re here. This is everything this website collects and why, in plain English.
What we always collect
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from (country), and what kind of device and browser they use. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you. We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how fast pages load so I can fix slow ones. Same deal: no cookies, nothing that identifies you.
What we collect only if you say yes
Google Analytics helps me understand how people find us: a search, a link from a school’s site, a friend sending you over. If you click “Sounds good,” it sets a few analytics cookies so visits can be counted properly.
If you click “No thanks” (or never answer), Google Analytics sets no cookies. Google may still receive a basic signal that a page was viewed, without any cookie that could recognize you next time.
When you write to us
The contact forms on this site are delivered by a service called FormSubmit, which emails what you type to german@dislamedia.com. That’s it. We use it to reply to you, and nothing else.
Videos
Our films play through Vimeo’s video player, which runs under Vimeo’s own privacy policy.
What we never do
- We never sell your data. Ever.
- We don’t run ads, and we don’t use ad tracking.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer any time with the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page. Clearing your browser’s data for this site resets it too.
